Dreambeach Bali seems to be looking more like Kuta and Jimbaran beach. Padang Padang is very low-scale and attracts a crowd that mainly wants to sunbath on the beach while the surfers head into the water when the right waves arrive. Scored incredible waves. Padang is an epic wave (think pipeline) but when it's smaller is a great longboarding wave. Bali and Indonesia have some of the most consistent surf in the world and when it gets big there's always smaller waves to surf on the island. Bingin pennisula is where a lot of the good waves are: Uluwatu, Padang, Balangan, and Jimbaron. It's crowded but if you surf on off tides you can score out there. Balian is out to the west and is a long pointbreak with hardly any crowds. Overall, it's a very cool place with a great surf scene. If you've got that long you should definitely check it out.
